At The Professional Bartending
Academy, students are trained to be professional
bartenders in a 40-hour program certified to
operate in Virginia by the State Council of
Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV).
Day Classes:
1 - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for
two weeks.
Evening Classes:
6 - 10 p.m. Monday through Friday for
two weeks.
Each class consists of
no more than six students.
New classes begin every Monday.
Job placement activities begin in the second
week. Many students have jobs lined up even
before they graduate.
Private tutoring is also available on a
limited basis.
Pre-registration is Monday through Thursday from 4

Students often find bartending fits well with school
schedules. People who already have jobs can easily
fit bartending into their schedules for added fun
and profit.
